Joe Biden doesn't seem to care about freedom, but he certainly doesn't make sense. Most people who own masks have only cloth masks; however, cloth masks are not going to keep you from contracting SARS-CoV-2.

You would need masks that actually work, such as N95 and R95 masks.

However, those masks are more likely to give you headaches and skin problems.

Furthermore, for the highest effectiveness, those masks would have to create a perfect seal around your face. Sikhs, for example, are not supposed to shave any facial hair that they may have. There are many Sikhs living in the United States, and nobody should require them to possibly betray their religion.

Powered air-purifying respirators and controlled air-purifying respirators are excellent alternatives, but Joe Biden should simply consider allowing the people to continue to have the freedom that they truly deserve. In the United States, the COVID-19 fatality rate could be just 0.26%.
